The timer works just like an egg timer. Twist the dial to the desired watering duration up to 120 minutes and the timer will turn itself off. The mechanical operation requires no batteries and makes this one of the easiest and quickest timers to use. It has a large dial with both timed watering and manual watering options. Timed watering can be set from 15 to 120 minutes.

We recommend placing a pressure regulator before the timer as pressure spikes or excess pressure from the supply line may cause damage to the valve when the valve opens. This can void warranty. Also keep in mind placement of the unit as frost can cause damage to internals of the unit, even if switched off for the winter and left out.

If pressure is an issue, we recommend a better suited timer such as a 25mm valved unit such as a Galcon 7101, Hunter Node, Toro Tempus.
